A fan coil retrofit involves non-invasively replacing a fan coil unit. Traditionally, this process required extensive work, including removing the entire cavity behind the wall and sections of the wall itself. Aurum has solved this problem with a non-invasive, slide-in chassis retrofit solution.
Retrofitting offers all the same benefits as a full replacement but with minimal damage to your home. These benefits include, but are not limited to, increased efficiency, updated technology and safety features, improved comfort, and enhanced system performance.
Aurum offers standard solutions for most air handler systems mass-produced over the past 60 years, but can also customize solutions for unique or special cases. Our standard units span three different air handler configurations: blow-through, draw-through, and down-draft.
Each of our products is assigned a unique code that provides key details about its specifications and design. For example, BTR350ZTW breaks down as follows: BTR indicates the model series for easy identification; 350 represents the output/rating in cubic feet per minute (CFM), ensuring you select the right performance level; Z is a sentimental alias for 'Zorzit,' honoring an integral part of our brand identity; T specifies that the product is tall, helping customers determine its spatial fit; and W denotes that the product is wide, offering further clarity on dimensions. Understanding this format allows you to quickly interpret a product’s features and make the best choice for your needs.
